A 34-year-old man was re-arrested on December 3 in Olympia after police linked him to a series of vandalism incidents on November 21. Initially discovered in a truck with broken glass and blood on his hands, he was arrested for felony malicious mischief. Investigations revealed he caused significant damage at two local businesses, Eastside Big Tom and Oly Curl, during the early hours of that morning. The damage at Eastside Big Tom was estimated at $50,000 due to the destruction of equipment, while he flooded Oly Curl by abandoning a hose near a back door. This series of events not only financially impacted the businesses but also highlighted ongoing vandalism issues in the Olympia area.

The suspect now faces charges of second-degree burglary and first-degree malicious mischief, as local law enforcement continues to address these crimes affecting community safety and local economies.
