New Signage in our City parks

Mill Creek, WALocal News

New signage has been installed across Mill Creek's parks to enhance visitor experience and address common questions and concerns. The Park & Recreation Board has ensured that essential information is readily available, including park hours, which are set from 8:00 a. m. to 10:00 p. m.

for parks equipped with shelters and lights, while others operate from sunrise to sunset. Tennis and pickleball court usage is similarly restricted to these hours. The signage also clarifies that picnic shelters operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and underscores the prohibition of commercial activities like food trucks and fundraising events within the parks. Specific regulations for Freedom Field include restrictions on league play and field usage without prior approval, ensuring the space remains accessible to all community members. Residents are encouraged to check the online calendar for scheduling purposes and to report any suspicious activities, such as graffiti or vandalism, to the police.

The city underscores the importance of community cooperation in maintaining the parks' integrity and safety. For visuals of the new signage, residents can explore the city's Flickr page for photos.
