City Hires New Finance Director
The City of Mill Creek has officially welcomed Irmina Lumbad as its new Finance Director, a role she steps into after Laurel Brock's promotion to Deputy City Manager. Lumbad emigrated from the Philippines in 1999 and is well-equipped for her new position with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and an MBA. Her background includes over 19 years of diverse experience in public accounting and budgeting, with significant roles in various California cities, including her recent tenure as Fiscal Manager for the City of Bellevue Parks and Community Services Department. In her inaugural comments, Lumbad emphasized her eagerness to collaborate with the leadership team to further the city's goals and objectives. She also highlighted her passion for community involvement and the importance of effective financial management.
In her personal time, Lumbad enjoys long walks and engaging in arts and crafts, showcasing her creative side through baking, knitting, and quilting.
