Beginning December 26, officers arrested Johnson Nixon Heath, Sr. , 54, for Second Degree Assault and Criminally Negligent Homicide after responding to a death in a homeless camp. Further arrests included Nathan Napyer, 38, for a warrant violation and Mario Ismael Urieta, 27, for Criminal Trespass at a local truck stop. Notably, the department dealt with multiple domestic violence cases, leading to the arrest of Alejandro Flores, 32, and Christina Ruiz, 21, on serious charges.
