Snohomish City Council to Discuss Ordinance Regulating Large Churches
The Snohomish City Council will hold a public hearing on January 16 to discuss a proposed ordinance regulating large churches in single-family residential areas. City Manager Bill McDonald stated that the initiative aims to prevent the establishment of 'mega-churches' that could disrupt neighborhoods with increased traffic and parking issues. The approved 2001 budget includes funding for community improvements, including a new library and youth center.
