Local transit agencies will be fare-free for New Years

Local transit agencies in the Puget Sound area are facilitating safe travel during New Year's celebrations by offering fare-free services. Sound Transit will extend its light rail operations until 2 a. m. on January 1, 2025, with the last southbound train leaving Lynnwood at 2:01 a. m.

and the last northbound train departing from Angle Lake at 1:55 a. m. Link and Sound Transit Express buses will be free from 4 a. m. on December 31 to 3 a.
