Prep basketball MLT boys holiday tourney, other games set for Friday, Saturday

Scheduled for December 27-28, 2024, the Mountlake Terrace Boys Basketball Holiday Tournament at Mountlake Terrace High School will feature two days of exciting high school basketball, with 24 games played. The tournament begins with junior varsity and C-teams at 9 a. m. and varsity matchups at 3 p. m.

It will host strong teams, including four that qualified for state tournaments last year, and a key rematch between the Mountlake Terrace Hawks and Lynden Christian, who previously met in an intense overtime game. Admission prices are set at $10 for adults and $5 for seniors, students, and children, promoting community attendance. Additionally, local girls' teams will participate in separate tournaments, further enhancing the holiday basketball experience and fostering community spirit.
