Starting since her freshman year, Anastasi achieved 13 shutouts, including three during the Class 4A state tournament, which were vital in leading the Vikings to their inaugural state championship. Her evolution from a shy freshman to a commanding player is largely due to her goalie coach, Laura Lovett's support. Anastasi expressed her excitement about playing such a crucial role and the necessity of confidence and focus. The Vikings finished the season with a remarkable 19-1-2 record, underscoring Anastasi's contributions.
