4 juveniles arrested in suspected Alderwood carjacking

In a concerning incident, four juveniles were arrested by Lynnwood police following an armed carjacking at AMC Alderwood Mall on Sunday night. Witnesses reported a group of suspects stealing two vehicles at gunpoint, prompting a swift police response around 9 p. m. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, highlighting a fortunate outcome in a potentially dangerous situation. About an hour later, deputies from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office stopped a 14-year-old boy driving one of the stolen vehicles on Larch Way.

He and three other juvenile passengers were arrested and booked into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center in Everett. Authorities confirmed the vehicle was one of those taken during the earlier robbery. Following the arrests, police continued their investigation and later located the second vehicle involved. This incident raises ongoing concerns about youth crime and public safety in the Lynnwood area.
