A tragic incident occurred in Lynnwood when a 17-year-old was arrested for the stabbing death of his 32-year-old roommate. The stabbing took place on February 26, 2024, just before midnight at the Brio Condominiums, where Snohomish County sheriff's deputies responded to reports of violence. Upon arrival, they found the victim with severe wounds, who was declared dead at the scene. The suspect had reportedly been living with the victim for several months prior to the incident. Following the arrest, he was booked into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center for investigation of second-degree murder.

Law enforcement officials have not yet released the name of the deceased, as they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
