Lewisville Animal Shelter Features Isaac as "Pet of the Week"
This week, the Lewisville Animal Shelter is featuring Isaac, a 1-year-old male Terrier/Staffordshire Bull mix, as their "Pet of the Week" to encourage animal adoption. Isaac is known for his playful and friendly demeanor, thriving in social situations with both humans and other dogs. He does have a pre-existing injury to his right rear leg, which results in a limp, and there may be a need for future surgery. However, he rarely requires pain medication and maintains a cheerful disposition, making him a delightful companion. To further incentivize adoption, the shelter is waiving fees for all dogs until October 5, significantly reducing the cost of bringing a new pet home.
Interested adopters can apply through the "Adoptable Pets" page on the City of Lewisville's website, where they can find Isaac's profile and submit their applications. The shelter staff will contact applicants promptly, providing guidance and scheduling visits for approved adopters. This initiative is part of the city's ongoing efforts to find loving homes for animals in need.
