Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Safety Action Plan

The City of Leavenworth is soliciting qualifications from consulting firms to develop a Safety Action Plan (SAP) in accordance with the USDOT’s Safe Streets and Roads for All grant program. The SAP aims to identify a comprehensive set of safety projects and strategies to reduce roadway fatalities and serious injuries for all roadway users. By utilizing collision data and community input, the plan will specifically focus on underserved communities, conducting equity impact assessments to ensure inclusivity. The findings from this data analysis will lead to actionable policy and project recommendations, along with clear implementation strategies. The City reserves the right to amend the terms of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) or withdraw it at any time, regardless of the effort consultants have made in their responses.

This proactive initiative highlights a commitment to enhancing road safety and equity within the community. With a focus on data-driven decision-making, the SAP represents a significant step towards creating safer roadways.
