Three Volunteers Recognized for Service to Issaquah Highlands

At the 44th Annual Community Awards held at the end of May 2024, the Issaquah Highlands community recognized three remarkable volunteers for their unwavering dedication. Zinna Park, a sophomore at Issaquah High School, received the Youth Leadership Award for her proactive efforts in translating community surveys and enhancing inclusivity. Ben Armlin, known for his engaging personality, was awarded the Community Builder Award for his extensive volunteer work, particularly with the Issaquah Ice Cream Trike, and his role on the Highlands Council Board. Kashif Zahoor was named Volunteer of the Year for his leadership as president of the Highlands Council and his contributions to various local organizations. These awards celebrate individual achievements and emphasize the significance of volunteerism in building a vibrant community, showcasing the powerful impact of dedicated individuals on their neighborhoods.
