The study assessed 29 indicators, such as mental health, physical fitness, and job satisfaction, across more than 180 cities nationwide. An impressive 88% of adults in Irvine report good health, and the city boasts the seventh-highest life expectancy. With low divorce rates and depression rates, Irvine residents enjoy a remarkably positive lifestyle. Fremont and San Jose topped the list, with Irvine trailing just slightly behind.

The study highlights how location and community play critical roles in enhancing happiness levels. Other California cities making the top ten include San Francisco and Huntington Beach, further emphasizing the state's favorable living conditions. This ranking serves as a reminder of the various factors that contribute to a fulfilling and happy life.
