Second victim in Friday RV fire succumbs to injuries

Everett, WALocal News

On February 7, 2025, a devastating RV fire in Everett, WA, resulted in two fatalities, as confirmed by the Everett Fire Marshal’s Office. The second victim, a woman in her late 30s, succumbed to her injuries at Harborview Hospital the day after the fire. The blaze was reported at approximately 10:30 a. m. , with witnesses noting heavy smoke and flames.

Two heroic Snohomish County PUD employees managed to rescue a female victim from the burning RV before firefighters arrived. However, the male occupant was found inside and pronounced dead at the scene. Firefighters faced significant challenges due to the hoarding conditions within the RV, which complicated rescue efforts. Investigations are ongoing to determine the fire's cause and origin, with preliminary findings suggesting no criminal activity was involved. The incident serves as a tragic reminder of the fire hazards associated with living in cluttered conditions, emphasizing the importance of fire safety measures.
