Lt. Brett Yeadon graduates from FBI National Academy
Lieutenant Brett Yeadon of the Everett Police Department has graduated from the esteemed 289th session of the FBI National Academy, a ten-week program known for advanced training in leadership, communication, and physical fitness. Chief of Police John DeRousse highlighted the significance of the partnership between the Everett Police and the FBI, noting that such training opportunities are invaluable for enhancing law enforcement capabilities. Participants in the program typically have an average of 21 years of experience, making it a selective and prestigious endeavor, with fewer than one percent of officers nationwide gaining admission. Yeadon shared his appreciation for the training, stating he is honored to represent Everett and eager to implement his newfound skills in service of the community. The graduation took place at Quantico, Virginia, where the FBI conducts training for its agents.
This achievement underscores the importance of continuous professional development within the Everett Police Department. Yeadon follows a legacy of previous leaders from the department who have also attended this notable program. As the community looks forward to his return, Yeadon’s experience will undoubtedly contribute positively to local law enforcement efforts.
