The City of Edmonds' Diversity Commission and Arts Commission are joining forces to offer small grants for community and arts-related initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Individuals, local non-profits, and organizations can apply for grants of up to $500, with a total of $2,100 available for distribution. Eligible projects include a variety of activities such as storytelling, poetry slams, and visual art exhibits, encouraging community involvement and engagement. The grant application period is open until June 22, 2021, and submissions can be made via email. A subcommittee consisting of members from both commissions will review the applications and make funding recommendations during their July meetings.

Award recipients will be notified after July 8, allowing them to plan and execute their projects by the end of the year.
