From over 150 initial participants, 34 were selected to engage in these discussions, which occurred over five months. The documentary, produced by Digital Matters Productions, premiered online on April 30, 2020, and has received more than 17,000 views on platforms like YouTube and Facebook.

Barr highlights the pressing need for connection in an increasingly polarized society, stating that the documentary serves as an example of how to transcend differences. The award will be presented during the 21st Annual Upper Midwest Emmy® Awards video ceremony, scheduled for November 14, 2020.
