Building Beyond with Clarksville Academy Maynard Academic Center
Clarksville Academy's new Maynard Academic Center (MAC) was inaugurated on December 10, 2024, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that brought together students, families, and local dignitaries. The MAC, spanning over 24,000 square feet, features sixteen classrooms thoughtfully designed to support modern educational practices, including flexible learning environments and advanced technology. Head of School Jennifer Hinote remarked on the facility's potential to enhance student innovation and growth. Senior student and Student Body President Ella Childers highlighted the MAC's significance as a milestone for the Clarksville Academy community. Lead donor Joe Maynard spoke passionately about the center's legacy, emphasizing its importance for future generations of students.
The MAC also honors the institution's rich history with dedicated spaces for alumni recognition, including a hallway showcasing composite photos of every graduating class. This facility marks an essential step in Clarksville Academy's mission to provide comprehensive college preparatory education.
