The Apple Acres fire, which started on Labor Day, has rapidly expanded to 5,880 acres with a containment level of 45% as of September 10, 2020. Firefighters are working diligently to patrol and secure fire lines while extinguishing hotspots, supported by a crew of 133 professionals. The weather conditions have been favorable, contributing to limited activity overnight, as confirmed by Public Information Officer Rick Acosta.
