City of Carmel Updates: New Finance Manager, Business License Reminders, and Public Works Initiatives

* Homecrafters' Marketplace jurying will take place at the end of August. * Jayme shares some of her background and what a finance manager does. Say hi to her if you see her around town! Business license renewals are due Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Renewals received after that date will incur penalties.

The license renewal fee is $21. 00 and the renewal tax is $1. 00 per $1,000 of GROSS revenues for the period July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. 620. 2000. Vista Lobos Window Repaired and ADA Compliant Door knobs upgrade The Facility Maintenance division replaced the rotted window frame and glass at Vista Lobos this week. They also upgraded ADA compliant door knobs throughout City facilities. Preparation Work for New Asphalt Berms Public Works Crew Members, Beau King and Gilbert Tamayo, prepped the area to install new asphalt berms at the corner of Casanova Street and Thirteenth Avenue.

Forestry Removed Dead Trees This week the Forestry crews removed dead trees on the north end of the Village near the corner of Alta Avenue and Mission Street.
