Sullivan Appointed Public Services Director - City of Bonney Lake
The City of Bonney Lake has appointed Jason Sullivan as its new Public Services Director, a decision confirmed by the City Council on December 10, 2024. Sullivan, who has nearly 20 years of experience in local government, previously served as the Planning and Building Supervisor in Bonney Lake, where he demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to community development. His career with Bonney Lake began in 2012 as a Senior Planner, and he has also held significant roles in the City of Des Moines. Sullivan's military background from 1996 to 2001 provides him with a unique perspective on public service. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in urban studies, a minor in environmental science, and a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Washington, underscoring his academic expertise.
Sullivan's involvement in regional and state committees, including co-chairing the Puget Sound Regional Council’s Regional Staff Committee, highlights his dedication to collaborative governance.
