Ground Level Group Members Bellevue Downtown Association

Bellevue, WALocal News

The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) has launched the Ground Level Group (GLG), an initiative aimed at fostering collaboration among its members who are directly involved in the built environment and depend on vibrant street activity for business success. This group is specifically tailored for smaller businesses that often lack the resources and time to engage in broader discussions. The GLG will emphasize placemaking initiatives and provide essential advice to the BDA Board of Directors on enhancing public space vitality, addressing a critical aspect of urban life. Membership in the GLG offers access to BDA Transportation Committee meetings, policy updates, and internal reporting, ensuring members are well-informed on key issues. In February 2025, the BDA plans to update its meeting structure, signaling an evolution in how they engage with their members.

This initiative not only strengthens community ties but also empowers businesses to have a voice in shaping their public spaces. Interested members should contact Matt Jack for more information on joining this impactful group. As the BDA continues to prioritize local business needs, the GLG stands as a beacon for collaboration and support in the Bellevue area.
