Free First Friday at BAM
Bellevue Arts Museum (BAM) is excited to announce its Free First Friday program, which offers complimentary admission and extended hours from 11am to 8pm on the first Friday of each month. This monthly event includes a variety of special lectures, tours, presentations, and programming designed to engage visitors of all ages. Among the current exhibitions are "Divine Ammunition: The Sculptures of Al Farrow," "Electric Coffin: Future Machine," and "The Contact: Quilts of the Sierra Nevada" by Ann Johnston, showcasing a diverse range of artistic expressions. BAM is committed to being the Pacific Northwest's center for the exploration of art, craft, and design, with a mission that underscores the transformative power of these mediums. The museum believes that craft and design are integral to contemporary art conversations and encourages public participation through accessible programming.
By placing international exhibitions alongside local artists, BAM fosters global exchange and provides a platform for innovative ideas. The Free First Friday program is an excellent opportunity for the community to experience the museum's offerings without financial barriers. Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of this initiative to immerse themselves in the vibrant arts scene of Bellevue.
