Bellevue community members are encouraged to participate in a virtual meeting on September 16 at 5:30 p. m. to engage in discussions about the proposed 2025-26 budget for Bellevue Utilities. This meeting will focus on the anticipated rate impacts for customers utilizing water, sewer, and stormwater services. Residents can register online to attend and pose questions before the budget is formally presented to the City Council on September 24.
The council will assess the budget for potential adoption in November. On September 5, the Environmental Services Commission, a seven-member advisory panel, reviewed the proposed budget and received public comments during a hearing. The Commission's recommendations will be forwarded to the City Council as part of their review process. This open forum aims to ensure transparency and community input into the budgeting process for essential utility services. Residents are encouraged to engage actively in this important discussion.
