City Applies for $7M Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) Grant

The City of Austin is seeking up to $7 million in federal funding through the Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing Grant to enhance affordable housing initiatives. Third phase of detours on the Butler Hike and Bike Trail starts September 30

The City of Austin will implement a new detour for the Butler Hike and Bike Trail starting September 30, 2024, to facilitate the construction of pedestrian bridges over Waller Creek. This detour is part of a larger project, The Confluence, aimed at revitalizing Waller Creek and enhancing the trail experience for cyclists and pedestrians.
