The train was carrying 157 passengers, all of whom were unharmed during the incident.

The collision resulted in a temporary closure of the southbound lane of B Street NW and delays of around 60 minutes for Amtrak services between Seattle and Tacoma. Local authorities, along with Amtrak crews, are actively working to clear the area and restore regular train operations.
